Optim™ Provides Technology Support for Otolaryngology Society Annual Conference

Optim LLC, a premier manufacturer of proprietary flexible endoscopes for use in the visual diagnosis of Ear-Nose-and-Throat (“ENT”) disorders, announced today it will again be providing its cutting-edge equipment in support of the Society of Physician Assistants in Otorhinolaryngology annual “Flexible Nasal Endoscopy Workshop,” where attendees learn to utilize flexible laryngoscopes in patient diagnosis procedures. The workshop is part of the continuing education program being held during the society’s national conference on April 21-23, 2017.

“We’re happy to once again support the Society with equipment necessary for hands-on workshop training for their members” stated Paul Joyce, President and CEO of Optim. “The society’s mission aligns with increasing the access and quality of patient care, and we believe in supporting such critical endeavors.”

The ENTity Series of flexible laryngoscopes are utilized daily to diagnose and manage airway, voice, and swallowing disorders. The ENTity Series features the company’s proprietary self-contained LED illumination system, providing practitioners with a high-quality, easy-to-use imaging device that can be employed in nearly any health care setting without ancillary equipment common to other endoscopy systems.

The 2017 ENT for the PA-C Annual CME conference is provided by the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS) and the Society of Physician Assistants in Otorhinolaryngology / Head & Neck Surgery (SPAO-HNS) and graciously hosted by the Department of Otolaryngology of Northwestern Memorial Health Care in Chicago.
